 | Wii Remote Controller Buy new: $39.73 / Used from: $12.99 This is the basic controller for the Wii console. You can sync up to 4 controllers to the console at one time (check individual games for number of supported players). |
 | Wii Nunchuk Controller - White Buy new: $14.54 / Used from: $5.99 This is an extension of the basic Wii Remote that includes a joystick. It's not required for all games, but you should probably purchase one for each of your remotes - it will make your game experience more enjoyable. |
 | Wii Sports Buy new: $37.98 / Used from: $16.99 I'm including this game in the list even though it should come bundled with the console (at least the one I recommended). There are many great activities here for 1 to 4 players, and it keeps track of everyone's high score. |
 | Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Buy new: $65.99 / Used from: $16.00 This is a great family game in which up to four players can play simultaneously. Includes ping pong, skeet shoot, archery, and many other fun games. |
 | Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games Buy new: $38.54 / Used from: $22.73 This is a version of the previous item updated for the Winter Olympics. Includes skiing, bobsleigh, and much more. Wii Balance Board is compatible but not required. |
 | Super Smash Bros. Brawl Buy new: $44.99 / Used from: $25.49 This is a family-friendly alternative to games like Mortal Kombat, etc. Compatible with old GameCube controller (not required). Hours upon hours of zany fun. |
